Outdoor Shows Continue!

Well, here in Quebec city we have been forced to enjoy, well attempt to enjoy, a summer filled with rain.  With all this rain we need to find ways to keep ourselves entertained and it seems that if you set your mind to it then it really is not that hard.  There are a multitude of shows that have been taking place this summer in vieux-québec and well worth the visit.  Of course, don't forget your umbrella.
Cirque du Soleil has been putting on free shows in the lower town and from all reports they have been spectacular.  Of course not far over from their stage you can go to another free show that is taking place in the old port.  Robert Lepage once again has put together a fabulous show of lights and sound. Last summer the show was dedicated to the 400th birthday celebration for the city of Quebec. Those people that saw last summers show will see some of the same but certainly it feels fresh and as intriguing as it did last year.  The effect of the images on the silos and the music that brings it all together is quite something.
It will be taking place every Wednesday to Sunday night starting at 10:00 p.m. until the 13th of September.  In August the show starts at 9:30 and in September it will get underway at 9:00 p.m.
