Thanksgiving Extravagance

too much turkey...
too much pie...
too much stuffing...
just too much
but
what a wonderful gathering!!!
Every year I say the same thing but every year ....
what a fun party!
It looked a bit like this...

Early Morning Pie-Making
Turkey Preparation
Apple and Baguette Stuffing
Table Preparation...
Dinner for 11.... kids had their own table which they love....
I love a very simple table...

the addition of a few red maple leafs for a hit of colour....

with a touch of them on the grape vine wreath...
a few pumpkins at the entrance
and we were all set
for another Thanksgiving Estravaganza!!

  2. Thanks Gina! They were amazing. I love a good home-made crust but sometimes lack the patience. This year it was a collaborative effort and it worked!

  3. It looks beautiful! I'm sure you had a wonderful time gathered together. Did you use a dropcloth for the table? I like that idea.

  4. Thanks Pamela. Yes, I did. I have never found a tablecloth long enough for this table. So, I had to rely on the drop cloth. I think I will look for one in time for Christmas. Perhaps I will just buy the material and make my own.

  12. The pies look fantastic and the stuffing sounds wonderful. My favourite! I like how you set your table and the beautiful room in which it is housed. Lucky Thanksgiving guests, I'd say.
Thank you so much for visiting my post.
