Starting back to work causes several delays in my life-life...
do you know what I mean?
Yes I get up and go to a job every day, albeit, often it means heading to my home office down below with a cup of coffee and pounding away at my computer
but
I still have to get myself down there.
Which means that I walk past projects that are underway and compelling me to turn my attention back their way...
... not so easy.
Where am I going with this?
Well, just to say...
the armoire is moving along nicely....
give me a couple of days on that one.
And the fireplace project is being confirmed today.... a few changes in our initial plans but I think we will be happier.
and in the meantime I am anticipating the changes to the living room brought about by the fireplace addition ....
thought I should share with you this lovely image.
Yep, one of my favourite... good book by that fire and I would be all set....
I may have to change the paintings but other than that,
it is all good.
No minimalist in this one, eh?

I like it! Quite formal but very cozy too. Can;t wait to see what you did with the cabinet.

ReplyDeleteI love the room. Is that grasscloth on the feature wall? I like that the other walls are white, and I also like the white upholstery. But Probably what I like most about the room is the combination rough textures paired with the gilt frames. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I love that room, it's really gorgeous to my way of thinking. I ADORE real fireplaces!!! I want to get mine inspected in order to use it, but my hubby does not want the mess in the house...we'll see.
