lighting in the kitchen

When we renovated our kitchen I was hyper-sensitive to the open-concept design of our house.
I had this thing about keeping it all feeling connected.
Livingroom to kitchen, kitchen to diningroom...
And at the same time
I have always liked the feeling of "livingroom" lighting in the kitchen.
Although it is not regarded as "chic" in many forums that I have visited
I have craved the feel that you got from this look.
So, the other day I switched it up...
