I am not sure why but there are two times in the year when
I really get the urge to buy new cookbooks.....
and that is spring and fall.
I tend to search for cookbooks in the spring that will provide some good fresh eats in the summer months
and of course in the fall
I am looking for books that give some fresh ideas on winter comfort food.
So as I mentioned yesterday

that gives me a chance to purchase some English cook books ....
So, it didn't take long to find this book, Seasons by donna hay.

the recipes are simple which I love and the ingredients are easy to find. ( a must!)
oooohhhhhh.....chocolate recipes galore.....
great images throughout....
and every page I turn I find a recipe that only requires a trip to my local market...
oh yah....that is definitely a two spoon pudding cake!!

That looks like a fantastic cookbook! I love cookbooks and tend to read them as I would a novel!
ReplyDeleteI have never read a Donna Hay cookbook. I must take a gander at one next time I am in Chapters. That pudding cake looks delicious...I am reading this at 8:30 am and could eat that for breakfast!
