and la ville de Québec below....

Home to some of the oldest buildings in North America.....
Each city unique in what they offer

Do you imagine yourself in a walk-up or the old historic home within the walls of an old city?
Just wonderin'.....

  1. I'm more of a country girl at heart, but I love the architecture and history of these lovely old buildings. Wishing you a great week.

  2. Oh beautiful! I imagine myself in an old historic home within the walls of the old city.

I visited Montreal last in the late 80s/early 90s, yet I remember very little about it. I'd love to visit again sometime.

  3. I had my 2nd honeymoon in Quebec city and my first child was conceived there. It was one of the most romantic and wonderful vacations I've ever had. Then that same child lived in Montreal from 20-23 yr of age; and I got to visit her there where I visited the old town and drank sangria while listening to flamenco music and I ate my first wonderful cannoli -- something I'd wanted to do since I heard about them on "King of Kensington" in the 70's.

I love the province of Quebec!

  4. I would love to see the inside of a walkup for the layout. I think it is a wonderful design style. I love the old city of Quebec for it's stone buildings and history. I have never been to Montreal, only driven through on the way to and from Ontario. Mabye one day I'll get back there and actually stop. (We haven't driven to Ontario since 1996!!)

  5. I'm a sucker for Quebec city! Of course, I'd want to be inside the wall! Music, good food, art and history; what more could one want? ~ Maureen

  6. Gorgeous. It has been too long since I was last in Montreal or Quebec City. I adore all those stone walls.
