Well, today ends the mark of one of the biggest holiday weekends in Québec!
St. Jean.....
we decided to head up to Tadoussac for a special birthday party
and of course the idea of venturing up to the Charlevoix at the last minute is not difficult
since it is one of my favourite places to be!
I have posted about this area before but forgive me as I go back to it again....
the scenery is stunning.
and this, Tadoussac, was our destination....
Typical Quebec farmhouses with the sloped roof and old stone farmhouses dot the highway along the route to Tadoussac.....
It is such beautiful scenery as you drive next to the fleuve St. Laurent.
I returned with a pocket full of shelves....
thankfully no driftwood..
which was a relief for one particular member of our household
but with some new memories
Lovely weekend....fun times.
and now back to work!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and a beautiful region of Quebec. I'm sure you had a wonderful trip. It's nice to get away even for a couple of days. And next weekend is another holiday with Canada Day! Enjoy.
