I know... some people around here are questioning.
my fascination for mirrors these days....
but
the unfortunate demise of one of my little bird plates forced me to hunt for a replacement.
And,
that replacement had to be something I already owned
so....
When I took down the gallery wall last fall
I was left with quite a few pieces
that have yet to find a home
and this little antique mirror was one of those homeless pieces.

Yummy!! Lemon tart.....
ReplyDeleteCute mirror! Watch those splashes!!
The mirror is perfect here. How was your lemon tart?
ReplyDeleteI like a mirror over a stove. It works really well if there is an area opposite where people gather while you are cooking. You can be part of the conversation without turning away from what you are doing. Choosing that pretty antique mirror is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteA perfect way to reflect light there. I love mirrors and a an old frame similar to yours that I now use for a photo. I did spray paint mine heirloom white and my mother had spray painted it gold before me. lol I expect it gets spattered there though?
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen, the subway tile is gorgeous, then your pantry with the yellow and white striped skirt! I love it, and I also love your light fixture with the Edison bulb. Gorgoeus!!! Or did I already say that.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful is that kitchen of yours?!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jileen!!
DeleteI thought I commented on this!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the mirror there Donna - and I adore your kitchen - beautiful styling!
Hugs,
Suzan
