So, it was a lovely weekend...
yep, family here for a wonderful dinner party on Saturday night.
Somebody had a birthday!!
that was fun.
Yes, we used a candelabra as according to my son we ...
"didn't have the budget for all those birthday candles..."
Trust me....the birthday boy is very easy going.
And then it snowed...
Yes, you read that right...
it snowed.....Saturday.....
and then again on Sunday.....
So, I tackled a few projects on my blog...
and I am hoping that somebody out there will help me.
Because, I know...that you guys are the experts
Here are my problems....
When I try to embed an image from Pinterest I am now led to a page for widgets etc....
when I just want the HTML code for that image...
WHY?
And I have followed every possible Youtube, blogger, how-to but I cannot seem to verify my website with Pinterest....
WHY?
Okay, I will stop there and share a picture of the blueberry-lemon pound cake from the birthday celebration....made by my daughter and
let you know that it was dee-lish!! She got the recipe from epicurious.com.
So, this is an any ideas are welcome post.....
just sayin'.

I'm sorry I can't help you with the blog problem. I haven't a clue how to do that nor do I dare do anything different on here. LOL It scares me too much and the simpler the better. I hope you can find some answers though. Is the cake a blueberry one or are those chocolate chips? Sorry to hear about the snow. It's beautiful here today but looks like some rain this week and s--w on the weekend!? Oh spring where are you????
ReplyDeleteOOps...I just updated my post to include the type of cake...blueberry lemon bundt cake. A real hit around here. She added whip cream only since the flavours of lemon and blueberry carry the cake on their own. Although my husband probably would not have turned his nose up at a dribbling of chocolate. :)
DeleteI really wish I could help you, but I haven't dipped a toe in Pinterest yet. I had to laugh at the snow. I complained all weekend about the cold, but at least we didn't have snow, now I'm feeling lucky! But I bet cake helps on a snowy day!
ReplyDeleteWell that looks like fun and yummy! Happy birthday to him!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the Pinterest issue. Is it a Pinterest glitch? Because like you said there was an embed button to get the code. I noticed my page looks different than my daughter's because I received a notice to try their test of larger photos.
