I love this time of year,
even though we are busy getting ready for the next season,
the beauty of Autumn cannot be missed.
We pile on blankets and sit out here if we can
and slowly see the hills in the distance come into view as the leaves fall off the trees.
There is a lot of work getting the wood pile stacked.
And no guarantee as to how long fall mums and pumpkins will last outdoors
before freezing...
Hopefully Thanksgiving which is just around the corner will provide us with some beautiful weather to be outdoors and enjoy the last bit of the fall colours.
Haven't the leaves fallen fast the past few days? I love your photos of the wood pile, leaves, mum and pumpkins. I also hope the Thanksgiving weekend is decent for some deck/yard/patio time and maybe a bonfire.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely, Donna!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Our leaves are changing slowly, a few cool days and crisp nights, BUT daytime temps are still hovering between 70's and low 80's. Oh well, that's how it is here in my neck of the woods. Hope you have some great temps through Thanksgiving before the big chill sets in.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
