These little ones will melt in your mouth...
don't overcook...
when cool roll in icing sugar!
Oh so easy!
Throw into your food processor
1 and a half cups of flour
1 cup of pecans
one-third (less sweet) to half a cup (little more sweet) of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Bake at 300 for 15 minutes. I have a convection oven so I seem to keep
checking them all the time since you don't want to overcook them!
Roll them in icing sugar when they are cool
and try really hard not to
pop these one after the other into your mouth!!!
Resist!
Yummy! Thanks for sharing this, going to pop to the shops to get some pecans in the morning!
ReplyDeleteGreat Amanda! Enjoy, some recipes that I have seen call for a third cup of brown sugar so you might want to consider that too if you don't want them too sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh, these sound very delish. I don't have a food processor is there another way I can mix them up? Thanks so much. Pam
ReplyDeleteThese look so good, I will be trying them! Thanks for the recipe!!!
ReplyDeleteThose look delicious. I'm busy working on my baking blog posts for next week - so of course, I"ve been doing a lot of baking too.
ReplyDeleteOh yum! We make these, but with walnuts. I've got to try them with pecans this year, I bet they'll taste even better! Thanks for sharing, Donna.
ReplyDeleteI am glad everyone is baking!! There is nothing like the smell of fresh baking...oh and how about some hot apple cider brewing!
ReplyDeletePamela, I don't see why you cannot simply chop the pecans, very fine and do the mix. You should end up with more or less the same thing...I would give it a try!
Let me know how it works.
YUM!!!! I am definately trying this recipe. Thanks for sharing.
