I LOVE the thought of decorating a mantel!
Certainly I follow some blogs (one in particular)
where they change it up seasonally and I oooh and ahhhh over everything that she does!!
So, today they are here to install the fireplace!!
We prepared the room last night by clearing it all out and setting up the scaffolding.
The space seems all of a sudden very small....uh-oh.....
it is for that reason that we went directly to a place where they actually make them instead of buying it through a distributor.
So....that's it.
Next step....well you know what....

Yippie. You must be so excited to see this done and to enjoy it this winter. I can't wait to see it and how you will decorate it. How long will they take to do it?
ReplyDeleteI am working in my office which is in the basement.... and apparently when I go up for lunch it will be done. Already though, there have been little decisions to make which feel huge but I guess that is to be expected. I am sooooo excited.
